The Class System

Choose one primary (fighting) class and one secondary (trade) class, or select a standalone specialised class.

Primary / Fighting

Warrior

Thief

Cleric

Mage

A character could be Mage/Smith, Thief/Wright, Warrior/Supplier, Mage/Traveler, and so on.

Standalone classes — Paladin, Ranger, Ninja, and Trader are specialised classes that combine skills from multiple types and do not receive a secondary class choice.

Class Descriptions

Warrior

The most basic fighting class. High strength and hit points make them formidable in hand-to-hand combat. Masters of multiple attacks, enhanced damage, parry, and rescue.

Thief

A warrior who chose more profitable pursuits. Expert in stealth, backstab, disarm, and gathering information. Automatically PK-registered.

Cleric

A spellcasting class devoted primarily to defence. Deity-granted spells in curing, warding, and protection. Civil servants and combat medics.

Mage

A spellcasting class devoted to elemental control. Invoking, hermetic, and combative magic. Prefers to stand back and roast enemies with a fireball.

Paladin

A fighter who has taken up a religious cause. Combines warrior and cleric skills, plus unique abilities including corpse location and retrieval. Standalone class.

Ranger

A self-sufficient wilderness expert. Skilled in foraging, taming animals, leatherworking, tracking, and long-distance vision. Standalone class.

Ninja

Assassins of the world. Martial arts, poison, dark magic, and extreme stealth. Shun armour for mobility. Automatically PK-registered. Standalone class.

Trader

The ultimate business class. Crafting, selling, and profit — minimal fighting interest. Immune to many offensive spells. Will likely be the richest on the server. Standalone class.

Supplier

The first link in the business chain. Wholesalers who find and collect the raw materials others need. Trade secondary only.

Wright

Builders of the world. Chests, boats, ships, houses, bridges — if it can be made from wood, a Wright can build it. Trade secondary only.

Smith

Workers of metal. Weapons, armour, and tools fashioned from raw ingots. A critical link in the supply chain. Trade secondary only.

Traveler

Wanderers struck by wanderlust. Navigation across oceans, deserts, and swamps without hindrance. Makes, reads, and follows maps. Trade secondary only.

Alchemist / Cook

Maker of food, potions, poisons, and all manner of things requiring recipes, mixing, and cooking. Trade secondary only.
